Mango leaves of unusual size
« on: June 14, 2020, 11:07:21 PM »
How big can mango leaves actually get? I bought a Sweet Tart tree a few weeks back, and it's latest flush is enormous!  Is this normal?

Has anyone else ever seen mango leaves over a foot long?  Or not?

I have an Atalufo in-ground that puts out 16"+ leaves on new limbs. My Sweet Tart in a Root Builder pot isn't far behind with numerous 14" leaves (similar to yours from the looks of it). It's growing like crazy, 3 flushes so far this season. I'm going to air-layer the main trunk to top it, hopefully I can get two trees from one.
