durianlover, were I am in Boca Raton, the answer is yes. Since my house in Boca Raton sit on an ancient coquina bed, if I dont water it, its growth slow down only one flushing a year. All my seven seedlings from a foot to 10 feet grow & get multiple flushing when water three times a week. Mike T mention awhile back he seen giant mature tree in park thriving without irrigation. i think once my tree pierce the water table at ten feet i can rest easier, now if I can only convince my HOA to allow TNT use, I can fract the coral bed & all my trees root will hit the water table must faster than now. My property in the Fruity Acres, its sandy loam so the water table is only five feet on an ancient seabed, I only water it once a week during juvenile phase, even At five feet now, I have stop watering since its doing fine on its own during dry season. My big concern now is how will my kepel handle slightly wet feet during our Hurricane month?
