Mine are finally ripe. This year's sweetheart lychees are off the charts, ridiculously delicious.

Luc, emperor are supposed to be a late variety. My emperor trees have fruit that is still a month or more from being ready. Do they normally come early for you?

My Sweet Heart were ready 2 weeks ago, just 4 pounds on my small tree but very tasty. Next were my kaimana, around 3 pounds on a smaller tree. Maritius would have been next but the iguanas ate them all, around 20 pounds. Then iguanas ate all my hak ip, around 5 pounds.  Next would have been Bengal, again iguana chow. I still have a small cluster of ohia that are green and the emperors.

I will be picking the last of Mauritius, maybe 15 pounds left on the tree. I have removed 25 pounds already. The squirrels ruined about 10-15 pounds (hav-a-heart set).

Central FL...picked all mine ( Mauritius) even though they weren't fully ripe several days ago since the animals have eaten a lot of them  :'(
