Annona for ID
« on: September 25, 2019, 07:13:54 AM »
Just found this fruit tree on our coffee plantation. It's probably 10 years old maybe more and is twenty feet in height. Here are some pictures of the leaves and of the immature fruit. Need help in identifying which annona this is.

The first two pics look Annona and the third looks Artocarpus.

Looks like Atemoya. Can you post a photo of the leaves?

Third picture of leaves is most likely of Artocarpus heterophyllus or hirsutus because of your area Kodagu / Coorg.

Addendum. But the fruit is a definite Annona variety.

Branches and leaves are also of Annona.  Probably atemoya, but could be pure Cherimoya.
