I collected the seed of this plant at the fruit park on Penang. It was collected from underneath a Fijian longan. Obviously it’s not that. To me it looks most like rose apple. Can it be anything else?

there is a lack of information on Ruby Longan.
You will perhaps be able to answer a question that many asked on this forum. Does Ruby Longan seed produce Ruby Longan Tree? My contacts in South East Asia always said 'NO'
Mine is a grafted tree, I hope to have fruit Next year, I will be able to contribute too.

This one is garcinia madruno, I have acuminata and you can see the slight differences in leaf and growth habits, supposedly the fruits slightly different too. My acuminata could be fruiting anytime so I’ll see a side to side comparison and let you all know
