@sotasty8 have you tried o leary tropicals in PHX, I'd assume he might have some

@Joe_OC have you tried champa/mimosa?

Yes, thank you. He does have some very small plants, but they grow quite slowly, so I was looking for something more mature.

Would like:

Garcinia intermedia--Lemon Drop Mangosteen
Garcinia Brasiliensis--superior Lemon Drop

6 of each fruit, if possible for shipping to Phoenix, AZ?

Thank you.

Collected today May 30 . Only six seeds available. That was first time production.
Trading for something new.

Are the fruits/seeds for trade only, or sale (if they're still available?)
Thanks.

Hi Maryoto,

Everything arrived in excellent condition! I have quite literally never received a package so quickly from your region! It was sent out on the 12th, but came in on the 20th of the same month!! WOW... Everything was in great shape and arrived at an UNBELIEVABLE speed! I still can't believe how fast this package got here.

Thanks!

Paraponera

Where in the US are you located? My package was seized by US customs and I received an empty envelope...Glad you received yours.

Did you ever hear anything back on this?

Thanks Carolyn.
It's a bit of a process to get it started, but seems straightforward enough. Hope it works.

Tropical Fruit Buy, Sell & Trade / Seeds shipped into US

Has anyone been successful with importing seed into the US and getting through customs?
I placed an order from SE Asia and US customs seized the package. The package was delivered empty with a document stating they were confiscated due to lack of Phyto Sanitation Certificate...
Was this just poor judgement on my part, or just bad luck?
Thanks for any insight.

Bill, I know this is a couple months old, but do you still have any plants available, or might you have more in the future?
Thank you.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Re: air layering question

Tropicalnut, you've got some good advice so far... I'm in Phx and we are just finishing up our guava air layering project. The aluminum foil wrapped tightly around to keep it dark, but not too hot worked well, and definitely keep it moist. We just watered gently with the hose once a week or so, but if we ever start the monsoon rains, you may not need to water much at all? We left a small opening at the top of the foil for ease of water to enter, and that worked well. Took about 2 months to get good roots, but all seemed to take, and I just cut and replaced 3 so far.

Good luck!

I am new to this forum, and I hope it's ok to hijack this thread, but It seems most on the thread are in Cal... Can anyone recommend a location in AZ to find Avo, and if so, any recommendations on planting/care?
Thank you!
