Has anyone tried this mango OR is growing it? Please post a pic and your opinion about it if you tasted it. USDA suppose to have it, but pictures online vs. fruit in my yard are conflicting. Its suppose to be No. 1 mango from Myanmar.
Here is picture from my garden, looks a lot like picture in article below. Tasted today and wow. Excellent sweet flavor with mild pineyness, hard to describe taste. Brix 26, seed was polyembriyonic.

We’re growing it. Maybe next year but Probably 2020 until first fruit. Has performed horribly at the USDA.

I will post picture of what I have fruited, its still getting big, at least its there as a start, is it real, not sure.

Behl... I believe I got our scions from dongeorgio. USDA lost their tree if I recall correctly from my email conversations with Mike W at USDA.
It seems to be a vigorous grower with larger spacing between nodes.
Maybe will get fruit next year. Lost quite a bit of foliage on the 7/06 heatwave.

Lol, why would I not be surprised that they lost another rare mango.

They did not lose tree, they had another one. We got wood recently again. Now I have what you gave me plus two seasons of USDA wood. It will be interesting for sure when all these fruit
-
I got budwood from them earlier this year.
Grafts took, so in a few years I'll have something more to contribute

pictures attached, take a look first hand

I’ll take a picture later today. Bought a plant from Lynn this past summer. 3 gallon though but I can get photos of leaves.
-
leaves wont tell much. I noticed that most pictures there is slight variation in shape, some are bit longer than others, one thing most pictures have is a small beak which I need to spot on mine. My mango is small so its hard to come to conclusion.

Take a look at picture at top with updated comments. Excellent mango.
