The ones that I have tried have a very nice apricot flavor with citrus overtones! It's a small fruit but one of my favorites!

You must have tried the same I have , they do come true from seed , seeds take a long time to germinate and slow grower in the first years .

Lakoocha is more like apricot and kwai muk is variable but fruit are smaller,rounder and more citrussy and the trees are more cold tolerant.There is almost a fig like quality about the fruit form. Those with brighter red inside have stronger flavor in my experience to date.There have been past threads that deal with this species.
