Reverse osmosis water
« on: May 22, 2020, 02:23:15 PM »
I live in an apartment, and currently using city water for all my plants. This was going fine until I got into jaboticabas and other more interesting fruit trees. Starting to notice more browning leaf tips, which I think could be combination with too much water retention in my soil mix and possible poor water quality.

Anyone have experience with using reverse osmosis water on their plants? Do you add any minerals back to it before watering?

Reverse osmosis water its used as a substitute for rain water  and is good to use it for indoor plants that need low ph soil.
You wouldnt want to add the minerals back to the osmosis water and the lower TDS the better.
You can also lower the ph of the water by using a little vinegar .
