How good is Triple Sec/Seacrest?  Is it a top-tier mango?  What popular mango does it resemble in flavor?

It is a top 10 mango for me.  Others do not agree. Try for yourself.

Easily top tier for me. I like it better than I like Sweet Tart. :)

Triple sec is a good new name for Seacrest which sounded bland and anonymous. btw--Anyone know what a Zill 40-14 is?? - I also see #78 on the pot.
Triple sec is described as an orange liqueur. Does this mango have an orange taste?
wikipedia:
Triple sec, (meaning "Triple distilled") originally Curaçao triple sec, is a strong, sweet and colorless orange flavored liqueur. It is a variety of Curaçao liqueur, an orange-flavoured liqueur made from the dried peels of bitter and sweet orange.

Hows the fruit?  I ordered pina colada from FL a while back and they sent coconut cream.  Not sure if it was a mistake or coconut cream is the improved version?  Sorry to derail the seacrest thread although it sounds like the naming question is answered.

They are different mangos. Pina colada when ripened fully is top tier, amazing eating experience. Only drawback I can think of is the smallish fruit size and doesn't have a thin seed but the flavor makes you forget about that. I've heard some growers report they are hard to keep clean.

PC and Coco Cream are not related...not that I know.         CC might work out better for you anyway. Larger than PC so more "sellable" for better money with your upcoming orchard.

Aroma resembles Triple Sec, not necesssarily the flavor, so I'm told.

Thanks. The description sounds enticing, naming it after an orange liqueur.

It’s Seacrest. They decided to change the name.

The names are getting worse and worse. Seacrest was an excellent name.

Aaron, did the label at least say "(AKA <something>)"? When I bought my Lemon Zest, it was labeled with Lemon Zest (AKA 27-1).

I bought 2 from Fruitscapes in 1 gal. About 40 had had just been delivered from Zill's. They had a yellow tag that said Triple sec, but inside the pot was a small square that said Seacrest. Fruitscapes confirmed it was Seacrest.

Got nice seacrest 3gals earlier this year. Haven't tasted them but have heard good things.
