Sarawak Orange "Eggplant" : photo of 5 month old plant.

Now 5 months old, these plants are in no hurry to produce flowers.  Leaves are enormous and covered with thorns.

100% sure it is a Solanum.

the plants looks like a Naranjilla, it is not an eggplant at al, but the fruit are for sure not Naranjilla.

Are you sure the photo of the fruits are from the pictured plant?

if so, I am interested in a few seeds.

Looks similar to Solanum sessiliflorum to me. Usually the cocona fruit is yellow, but I've also seen it orange.

The plant looks like a friendlier version of the type of naranjilla I have in my yard. The fruit looks a bit like a red cocona that I had with hard tasteless yellow flesh, but internal colour and seed distribution are different.Red asian eggplants are pale inside, shiny almost plastic red on the outside and the plant looks like an eggplant.
