Hi friends, need help from all you experts here...i am in zone 10b, North Miami and have a long area about 2 ft away from concrete house wall, 15 ft long and 3 ft wide that can host fruiting trees/bushes. This area is wind protected being close to the house, gets 2-3 hrs of direct sun from 1-4pm and is close to my downspout drainage so i can have more water diverted to the area during rains. I already have a lot of papayas, bananas, natal/coco plums, canistel, surinam cherries, dwarf mulberries and carambolas growing around so looking for some other suggestions?
I hear a lot about garcinias, eugenias and plinias these days, do you think I can plant any varieties of those in this spot? I already have a cherry of rio grande, grumichama and sabara jaboticaba growing elsewhere so looking for something else to add to the food forest
. Any suggestions on something that fruits quick (maximum in 2-3 years), can be kept around 5-6 ft tall and wide? I think i have space for 4 small bush/trees there. Thanks!
