Bravo! excellent video on the subject of powdery mildew and anthracnose. This was truly a public service message because there's so much bad misinformation sprouted by the Facebook over posting gurus. The mango Facebook group is where I saw this video. I am amazed how much it is being ignored by folks giving bad advice and crying because of their crop loss to powdery mildew. Very happy Har reiterated sulfur on powdery mildew and copper on anthracnose. I don't know how much more free advice Alex could have gave without asking for a consultant fee. These two Dynamic duels truly love the mango community and this is their passion.

Thanks for sharing that very informative video, I'm a nooby grower so info like this from someone in the know helps out big time! I did what he suggested in planting a resistant variety of mango tree, I read Pickering was somewhat resistant, but I think I read that here on this forum about Pickering so I planted one as my first mango tree.

Yes there are clowns that have a small collection in their backyard and question everything the commercial people have observed for decades. It's okay to bring things up for discussion but when you make claims on a very small antidotical  sample of evidence. It becomes  a pappy show. Gringo Patois

I got by without spraying for years, but didn't brag about it online or claim to know anything. I just got lucky, lol. Really appreciate the video and info, along with the shared wisdom and knowledge of Alex and Har. Will be getting friendly with copper next flowering season. Even though we have a few varieties that did okay despite no treatment, this year's crop is a fraction of what it could've been. Mmmmmm copper, can't wait.

A discussion of resistant varieties needs to continue and intensify. Here, Sweet Tart and Mmm4 are the champs VS powdery mildew, with Glenn, Ceci Love, and OS coming in behind. Hard to actually say with OS, as it only flowered lightly. Holding some fruits, will guard them faithfully.

Edward is holding a few fruit as well, but lost most of the blooms to pm.

I'm seeing a lot of late varieties on the resistant list. I wonder if there is a link there.

Great information from Alex and Har as usual. It’s amazing how much you can improve production with consistent spraying. I always appreciate the advice from these Mango gurus.
