What is the topic? Oops, I just googled the address.  Its 1 hour 40 minutes from me.  Too far for a work night.  Oh well...what's the topic anyway?

It will be about Eugenias.

It's one of my favorite subjects to talk about.

also, the treasure coast club is one of the only clubs I've attended that auctions plants.  The whole process is really fun!!

I wish the central FL club had auctions!  I might start showing up to meetings again.

ditto ditto ditto....

I also have a Eugenia fettish.  I've never quite figured out why, maybe because they have some small growing species with tasty fruits.  I had one mystery one in Bali that had fruits about the size of a dried peppercorn and nice flavor... sadly the seeds of those didn't make it.
What's that got to do with Jose Andres $10 brussel sprouts?

I have some rare stuff for the raffle table and the auction block...

I'm bringing one 3 gal, Luc's Limoncillo Garcinia...it's one of the prettiest ones I have out of the bunch.  I plan on keeping the rest, but figured this would be a nice way to sell one if I had to.  I won't be able to replace the tree anytime soon.

Adam,
We can't wait to see you again at the club this evening.  I am also a Eugenia fan and look forward to learning about some of the more unusual stuff and maybe some growing tips.  I thought I knew all there was to know about jaboticabas until I saw your Jaboticaba/container growing presentation last time you visited the club.  I expect that the Eugenia presentation will be just as good.  We typically don't have speakers repeat so quickly but many of the members were anxious to get you back.
Drive safe, see you this evening.

Tropical Fruit Forum members are welcome to attend this and any meeting, we would love to have you.  We meet on every 3rd Thursdayof the month at 7:30p at: University of Florida/IRREC building, 219 South Rock Road, Ft. Pierce, room 210.
