Temperate Fruit Discussion / Ripping of PawPaw fruits
« on: October 03, 2019, 02:30:50 PM »
This year, one of my PawPaw trees is bearing striking fruit. When the first fruit began to tear, I thought it might be a "memory" or predisposition from an earlier evolutionary period, when the ripening fruits might still crack to release the seeds, as the relatives of the PawPaws, the magnolias, do in principle to release the ripe seeds. But now more fruits are torn, and it looks more like it has a systematic cause.  What is striking is that it has so far only occurred in the Mango variety. Interestingly, it is mostly just a crack that runs in the longitudinal direction, often also on the longitudinal line that is sometimes seen on PawPaw fruits. But not always, sometimes it is also a crack across the fear, or several cracks. Cracked fruits usually don't ripen ready and start to rot.  Does anyone have the same problem, and perhaps knows the exact cause? Is it perhaps a disease? Or how can you prevent the fruit from tearing?

Temperate Fruit Buy, Sell, & Trade / Seeeds of Wild Growing Ussurian Peach
« on: September 13, 2019, 04:24:54 PM »
I have a lot of fresh seeds harvested from a wild peach growing in the area close to the river Ussuri - Wild Growing Ussurian Peach

The fruits taste very aromatically - combined by an harmonious mixture of sweet and acid. The flowers in spring are smaller and more dark pink red than any usual peach flowers. The plant is very healthy , when growin some yeas, rather dry resistant, also resistent against the peach leaf curl Taphrina deformans. It can be propagated identically by seeds - Young plants flowers in the Age of four or five years already.

10 Seeds 3 USD + shipping costs. Cracking of seeds possible and recommended  for international shipping - make packages smaller.

I am earliest able to ship seeds in October - storage and also shipping is possible the whole winter as long as I will have seeds are available.

In case of interest please send a personal message.
