Prunning Questions about Pakistan Mulberry Tree
« on: January 09, 2013, 03:58:19 PM »
I want to prune my mulberry tree but am afraid of damaging it. I've read on certain sites that pruning at the wrong time and place can lead to "bleed"ing on the tree. Does anyone have any knowledge on pruning Pakistan Mulberry trees, especially when and how too?[/b]

Yes, should be if your in Cal. but just prune back to a bud that is going in the direction that you want your growth to proceed in. Sometimes they bleed a little but I've never had a problem with them. The only time that the sap flow is bothersome is when your grafting them.
