Only for a while, then your collection will outgrow it and you will note how much happier you will be with 2 acres :)

Toppy told me you were coming out that day and wish I could've made it.  Glad you rec'd it to Pete as his youtube skills are definitely top notch!  I've spent ALOT of time with Toppy over the past 5 yrs, and he is the most genuine person you'll ever meet.  Our small residing group of neighboring families have spent plenty of hours around that Tice mulberry every spring.

$10-$20 mil is a bit of a stretch as of right now, but half that wouldn't be out of the question.  North MI homeowners association and planning/zoning boards are fighting these small tract developments but losing some big battles lately.  Either way, I'm cherishing the time we still have with this property and most importantly, Toppy himself.

BTW - That Sap was a Morena.

321Chris,

sorry i missed u that day!

thanks for the info on the sap, them thingz are damn good, it had the cinnamon taste of makok, but not as intense.

I actually ended up freeze drying some of the morena sapodilla, and it was one of the best things i've tasted so far.

if you are in the area, let me know, because i'm selling freeze dried rare fruit now locally ( I'm not set up to ship yet, but i'm working on it!)

Never seen Toppy when he wasn’t smiling

He gets more pleasure selling a pound of Lychee for four bucks than have millions in his pocket

At Fruit club meetings you will find him on the first row where he can hear and learn from other experts

He is still planting new fruits trees

Proud to know him

It’s an excellent video. Priceless really.  Good to “see” Adam again too. I attempted to visit Toppy’s years ago. It they must have been closed. Will give it another shot in July. Anyone in the area that can advise me so we actually get there on the right day/time, it’s appreciated. Plus keen to see what else is around.

What's the mulberry variety in the video, it looks similar in fruit size to the Thai mulberry you have for sale on ebay. I want one!

Sounds cool! not to hijack this topic but what kind of equipment and cost is involved in freeze-drying?

I have thought about freeze-drying Asimina triloba. Consuming dehydrated or "leathered" pawpaw can supposedly can lead to intense stomach upset, but I wonder about freeze-drying.
