Sounds cool. I want to grow it if someone finds a source.

The Chinese text on the left also mentions a yellow fruit goji. I guess there areally still stuff in China that only locals know about.

That is awesome, I want to plant it now too! People should also look into the regular red goji berries because many of the health benefits of the Black Goji are also claimed by the Red Goji.

Found a source of the dried fruit, sold as a tea. Now the question is, will the seeds germinate.
Grow mainly fruits, vegetables, and herbs.

I germinate seeds from dried lycii often. However this would vary based on how they were dried ((sun vs oven etc.). I would predict success.  Can you share the source?

Black Goji seeds germinated. Soaked in water for 3 days and did nothing else, I got 2 that are showing white root. Another one looks like it may germinate soon as well. So 2/10 not bad for some dried black goji fruit.
Grow mainly fruits, vegetables, and herbs.

There are various edible Lycium species!
But tke care -out of their natural range Lycium easily turns a weed!
It is really easy to grow them. Had never problems and many are tolerant to dry conditions and even to salt.
However be carefull!
I think Goji is nice, but to exagerated concerning this plant. There are many plants with health benefits and good quality fruits that aren'tused so much. For example Nitrariceae.
In similar conditions some Ephedras bear good tasting "fruit"

Do You know wht species or hybrid?
If You have seeds I'd like some !!!
Ephedras are fascinating and very productive, easy collectable plants. In my birthplace the people make a jam of Ephedra berries (ripe ones). Very tasty and nice. Problem is maybe it initially slow browth and sometimes irregular blooming. Also in some countries like Russia, Ephedra cultivation is prohibited (what a stupidity....). I am currently growing Ephedra chilensis - and have obtained seeds from some other species. Strangely these plants are underused, while being very productive and hardy plants.

Hi Nullzero,  just received my goji in the post and was wondering if you had any wisdom on the planting. After looking at the fruit(purchased 100 seeds/10 fruit), it seems the seeds are very difficult to remove from the dried fruit. Should I just plant the whole fruit or take the time to extract the seeds??

Hi! This was the fast and easy seeds i plant and i have seelings in 3 to 4 days! I put 3  dryed berries in whater for 12h. Then i squezzed then to a glass with some whater and whash them. Then i put the seeds to sprout in humid paper towel in a plastic bag... it will be very fast! When they sprout i transfer the seeds to the pot. ;D easy!
