The top two look like el bumpo cherimoyas.

awesome.
I heard lot of great thing about El Bumpo and want to graft it on my tree.   I'll try it when it's ripe to see if it's fit my taste.
Thank you FruitFool.

Hope they taste okay. If not, don't be discouraged. I've heard of people returning their bags this year after the tasting. El bumpo is okay. I really don't like the grittiness next to the skin so I give it a lower rating than other people would.

The price for each bag is so low plus you’re supporting a good cause. Seeds alone should cost that much. Imagine the man power and all the free fruits that go into this event. They’re just there to spread the love of cherimoya :).  Too bad I couldn’t make it this year. Otherwise I would’ve bought all of the return bags.

I bought a bag... unfortunately out of the 4 I've eaten so far, only 1 was decent. :-(

I'm not sure what I had. The two that were somewhat decent had bumpy exteriors; maybe el bumpos?

Unfortunately by the time I got through the purchase line the tasting was pretty cleaned out and I only got to try two varieties.

I got a bag as well from the South Coast Cherimoya tasting, and while most were bland, there was one very small slightly bumpy Cherimoya that was amazing -- had a fragrant bubble gum flavor.

Any idea what variety might have had that flavor?

Ask them to mark the fruits next year.
