I think milky spores has some requirements like the temp has to be above 55F. I didn't get it for that reason, but tell me how it goes for you. I'm interested in ways to get rid of mine too. Of course, the neighborhood lawns will harbor these grubs as well. I once though about getting chicken to take care of them.

Hi Fang, thanks for the additional info.
I just googled and found this interesting article with lots of info about milky spores from the
old Garden Web site (now Houzz);

Looks like it's ok to use it as long as the ground is not frozen; also one answer from
the FAQ: "Eventually, the Spore will creep next door into adjacent areas by natural movement."

I thought about getting some chickens too, but then I haven't got their droppings situation
resolved...   :)  Wishing that I got some acreage!
