Mine is flowering in a 7 gal. pot. They are very precocious and take about 4 years from seed in the right conditions.
Thanx also for that info, Jabo!
I have
E. stipitata in a 7 gal pot as well, but it has only been in there for four months now. It's growing okay, plus it's bushy and about 3-1/2 to 4 ft tall from the top of the pot. (It came out of a 3 gal pot.) Have it in full sun now; seems happy. How tall is yours, Jabo?
I'm wondering how much taller it might need to be to fruit. It's getting plenty of rain here in Florida since the last few months have been generous that way. I've been shy with the fertilizer though to let it get its roots well established in the pot but maybe by now it could use some more fertilizer. What are you feeding yours?
Hoping to be able to try some fruit before too long.
