Title: Double wood grafting on Citrus
Post by: behlgarden on September 19, 2019, 12:42:33 PM
I had 4 pieces of okitsu ease with only two rootstock trunks. I experimented with dual cleft and it worked

Take a look.

Good job. Better watch and see the weaker of the two scions and remove the weakest. Ndver had any success leaving both on the rootstock....seems like they compete and cause problems for both.

Because I am experimenting I will remove the inward growth, and let it grow bushy and low branching..I heard it's excellent Mandarin.

It is a good mandrin. I am partial to Ponkin but yours are fine, sweet and juicy picked at right time. Good luck with your experiments.
