Absolutely The Best Perlite Ever

I purchased a large bag of Hydro-Farm's course perlite.  The product has very little dust, and the particle size is unusably uniform  in texture (approximately 1/4 +- inch.  A wonderful product.  Normally the standard perlite that one finds, the granular size is to small, with a ton of dust. The large popcorn size is to big.  If you can find Hydro Farm's product buy it.  The product's trade name is a PLANT !T.

I just bought a similar product by Hydro Farms, called GROW IT Super Course Perlite, in a 100L bag, about 3.5cu ft.  It's the best I've ever gotten.  Purchased at a hydroponics store in N. Jacksonville. There's no size mentioned on the bag, but I called the store, and they said the particle size on mine is between #6 and #4.  You might have #3 or #2 which is the largest.  PLANT IT might be the new name, the seller told me they just changed the bags. It's great stuff for my container mix.

I was googling it after Millet posted this and I think GROW-IT is coarse and PLANT-IT is "extra course".   

I'll give it a try if I ever order more perlite 

I have been recyling the same big bag I got from Amazon for a while now.   When I repot I dump the old potting medium in huge water bucket and skim the perlite off the top for re-use.

As written above Plant !T (The word !T in the product name is spelled with an exclamation point for the letter "I")  is approximately 1/4 inch in size.  Some of the "popcorn" perlite that I have seen can be as large as 1/2 inch.
