The picture doesn't look like those flowers are going to do much.
I am sure you are watering it good now and it will put out new leaves and
flowers. What kind is it? We got 11 1/2" of rain the past 2 weeks and
most of my jabos are under the overhang of a carport roof and get drenched.

species? we really dont know: most of the jaboticabas from Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia and South of Brasil are unnamed varieties... maybe it is similar to p. trunciflora, but helton thinks it could be a wild p. coronata or so... and there are people that thinks it could be p. cauliflora...
so, maybe it is not a known species.
