« on: September 15, 2014, 01:05:22 PM »
Anyone out there have any experience with propagating the Kei apple by cuttings? What rooting hormone do you recommend? When do you think is the best time to harvest cuttings and what size/age of growth works best? Is intermittent mist and/or bottom heat necessary?

from what I've read, mangoes have a fairly large taproot that goes deep down to retrieve water and smaller feeder roots that spread out more for gathering minerals/nutrients. The deep taproot makes sense, given that they had to evolve to endure the long dry monsoon seasons in india.
