thornless mexican/key lime harvest
« on: November 15, 2019, 12:24:29 PM »
This one branch was loaded with fruit.  One is as large as a small chicken egg.

Normal lime flavor, few seeds.  I dunno what to do with them all, I think I will make a pitcher of limeade.

Margaritas...  Maybe too cold there for margs?  My wife makes key lime pies with them usually around new years we have a big harvest but thry do produce all year.

It is friday...

Best margs ever are fresh sugar cane juice, a couple fresh squeezed key limes, and a shot of real tequila over ice.

I find the thornless compared to the regular Mexican lime taste better with a cold Mexican beer. The thornless is milder.
