Beneficial nematodes for weevils?

So for years I've seen a product advertised that claims its beneficial nematodes that will kill the larvae of diaprepes root weevils, Sri Lankan weevils, and little leaf notchers.  I need this product BADLY as my lychee tree in particular is ate up bad with them. The problem is that nobody seems to have reported whether or not this product worked for them.  It's always "I'll let you know how it works out!" and no follow up...

So before I drop some serious coin (at least for a garden chemical) on doing my whole property, can anyone give a real report on if this stuff actually works?  Thanks!

This is the product, and since it has to be done every two weeks until infestations subside, you can see that it ain't cheap to use.

I've used it in the past and it seemed to work. If you have recently treated your yard with systemics and other pesticides, it may not work for you though.

I've thought about using beneficial nematodes too.

I used encarsia formosa for spiraling whitefly, and it seems to have made a dramatic difference. I still a few, but probably 5% or 10% of the pre-encarsia levels.

Beneficials are the way to go, as it's a long term solution. Chemical (ie, pesticide) is a short term solution, as you will need to continually re-apply.

I've used them on chinch bugs before, you gotta have patience.  Doesn't yield instant results the way chemicals do.

And ya, other pesticides will take out the nematodes.

Does anyone know if they send them in the mail will they get too hot in the mailbox in the summer heat? Also i read they need warm humid conditions, so does that limit what time of year they can be applied?
