Jakfruit problem
« on: May 20, 2016, 09:40:20 AM »
I have a large seedling MAI1 in my yard, about 5 years old. This is the first year for fruiting.

A fruit grew to about the size of a grapefruit, then became rotted. There was white looking stuff on the fruit as well.
A second fruit is doing the same thing.

Ive never had a seedling before and my grafted tree didn't behave this way.

The tree itself is huge and very healthy looking

Any thoughts?

are you sure they are female flowers?  Males look like baby fruit and will dry up and fall off...

it wasn't a flower - a large fruit developed and got moldy
