Citrus Disease Help! Please!
« on: April 10, 2020, 03:45:44 PM »
Can anyone identify what is causing this?
It's dry flaking off of the bark. This is not the first citrus tree I had that has gotten this.
Please help.

I have no clue on this one, sorry.  I have never owned a citrus tree that large and old.

Given that you are in Florida my guess would be citrus greening.

The problem with your tree most likely came from Phytophthora.  Your tree's problem has been going on for quit some time, and should have been dealt with long ago.  Looking up Phytophthora on citrus trees will give you a lot of information.  You might also want to look up Foot rot disease caused by Phytophthora nicotianae.
