there are several variants of P.conoideus:
1. long fat (round cross-section shape): 2 var: small seed and big seeds variants.
2. long thin (round cross-section shape, smaller in diameter), small size seeds.
3. long with square cross section shape.
4. middle (not too long), this var has the best taste eaten with papeda.
5. short fat, almost round ball shape, and very big, can reach 10 kg.
6. yellow long, this is my favourite, and can produced to golddn yellowish-tranparent oil, probably this variants has the richest of antioxidant, mineral and others.
7. yellow roundball shape.
8, cone/round pyramid shape, red color.

common is no 1, long fat red color, small seed., commonly sold in traditional market, no need to go hunting to jungle.
I can source of some variety, but if only 1-2buyer, it s worthless,  papua political activities is dangerous nowaday, and all transport cost is high, only air transport to mountainous city available there.

I have 2 var of red and 1 yellow, they are easily propagated. sucker will produce root in water and full sunlight only 1 week. but easily die if keep dry, they enjoy water.I dont have export permits fir life plants.

Salam juga bung Fajar, menurut yg sy tanyakan ke karantina disini, katanya harus ngurus surat import ke kementrian di jakarta langsung dulu (krn sy mau ngurus izin import utk beli tanaman hidup). Utk izin export seperti yg yg bung afriadoni katakan, pastinya butuh sertifikat pembenihan, kemudian TDP, SIUP, SITU, dan NPWP. Dan utk kepengurusan pajak export trutama pph sy kurang tahu, coba hubungi konsultan pajak. Utk tanaman ato biji kehutanan butuh surat CITES dari kehutanan. Jika index cites 1 itu payah, jika cites 2 ke bawah bisa diexport keturunan nya. Tentunya harus ada inspeksi pembuktian itu telah kita tangkarkan. Sebenarnya kesulitan ini ga perlu di ikutin, krn untungnya ga seberapa. Kecuali bermain skala kontainer, jika tidak ga cukuo buat bayar si a, bayar si b. Lebih gampang meng export hasil/produk/olahan yg bukan merupakan materi hidup tanaman lagi.
Atau jika kenal org dalam bisa langkahi prosedur diatas, krn sebenarnya negara tujuan cuma perlu surat phyto dan cites (surat izin import tentu dati si peng import ga ada hubungan dgn kita), jika bisa langkahi prosedur surat izin export, lgsg bisa dapat phyto dan cites.
