plant ID help? Not a fruit, but it showed up in my pots...

So, I have this stuff growing in most of my pots.  Don't know what it is, as it hitch-hiked in with something a while ago.  It does not vine or spread by runners, so I don't think it is a syngonium, even though that is what the leaves look like. It never gets any taller than about 6-8 inches, and grows from a bulb that looks just like a rat turd.  Now it is blooming, with a nice-smelling, velvety purple/black spathe-like thing.
Any ideas?

I suspect it is Black Calla Lily - Arum palaestinum (or related):

It is na Arum species for sure!
Maybe Arum purpureospathum, by the shape and color...

Thanks for the tips on it being an arum!
It appears I am the proud owner of about a thousand Typhonium Roxburgii - dwarf voodoo lilies!
Not sure if I am supposed to USE voodoo now, or if these little guys will PROTECT me from voodoo.
At any rate, I will quit pulling them up!
