Viability of durian seeds
« on: July 05, 2017, 08:25:58 AM »
Hi,
I bought 3 durian seeds over 30 days ago and they are not arrived yet. Can they be still viable? The seller usually does not use peat moss.

Unless they started sprouting and have room for growth inside the bag then they are probably rotted.

Everything depends on HOW they were shipped.... dry? wet? with sphagnum? enough space?

Shipped dry they wouldn't last more than a couple of days.

Even if sometimes i had durian seeds left alone  on my kitchen counter for days sprouting.....but this happens ONLY when you have no interest in them  :D
