Looks like Edible-Leaf Hibiscus.
I agree based on the petioles and plant structure, edible hibiscus Abelmoschus Manihot can have several leaf shape variations, and leaves can get very large if well grown, much larger than chaya which seems to have a limit.

If yours does not have latex and makes a mucilaginous liquid when chopped, probably the hibiscus. However, since we are speaking about an unknown plant which could be edible or something harmful, you really need to get hold of an edible hibiscus and compare by scent and other plant structures before consumption because of the risk involved.
