My condolences. Disheartening for sure. I'm sure there are some lessons to be learnt and some things that can be done to reduce future losses the next time. Wind break. Drainage. etc etc.

might want to start off with guesses why they died, were they slow or instant deaths?

maybe set up fans next to the trees to build up their tolerances!
sorry cant be of much help, pruning I'm sure would help, general rule pf thumb is no more than 3 limbs per main, but if the main is weak cut it way back.
