Ivory Agave?
« on: April 15, 2018, 12:14:25 PM »
I'm hoping Agave americana marginata counts as having some food use so I can ask this question:

Has anyone ever seen or had an ivory-colored one? I bought an agave from Lowes and had some pups pop up. Two are normal-colored marginata and one is ivory colored.

Will this stay this color or change? I hope it stays this color.

Thanks!

I think that pup will not be able to photosynthesize and will get weak, die.  Hopefully, for you, that’s wrong.

no it is near death, aloe vera also turns white when near death but they can and usually do recover with a little bit of care.
