Citrus leafminer, also known as CLM.  Nothing to worry about, will only damage the cosmetic appearance.

Bayer Advanced tree & shrub treatment.

I have the same problem with my trees.  Since they are fruit hanging on the tree, I'll choose to ignore..

Is "Bayer Advanced tree & shrub treatment" safe during the fruit season?

I use spinosad for the first time this year and has a pretty good effect of reducing CLM.  I personally would not use Bayer Advance on fruit trees that I will be eating.

I'm not organic. And these things won't be producing fruit any time soon.

Can someone link me to a product in a spray bottle I can use? I have 3 small citrus plants. I don't need one that attaches to a hose or a gallon of concentrate.

Bayer is $20 a bottle, mix it with water & water it in. Miners will be gone...

Bayer is good advice. It works and is systemic.

To be clear, the damage you see is not reversible.  Applying an insecticide (Bayer Advanced, spinosad, neem or whatever) will only prevent future damage not fix the damage that already has been done.
Near NRG Stadium, Houston Texas. USDA zone 9a

The damage, although ugly will not cause undue harm to the tree. CLM is a pest that one has to deal with. No use to start pruning leaves and such. Treat with a deterrent and let it go. With treatment new damage can be halted an the tree will recover.

expo, you can expect leaf miner damage every year.  You will need to treat year after year.  Most commercial citrus growers do not bother to treat for leaf miners on big trees.  However, on small young trees the damage from leafminer can and does hurt the tree.
