The point is that there is contradicting information on the web than the personal preferencies of Liudmilla descendence by some forum member.
Which proofs nothing other than there are different statements.
As long as there is no link to an scientific paper it is just a statement.
That is what I wanted to point out.

Btw I don`t care about descendency. It is nice to know but I can`t see any advantage in this knowledge which helps me. Might be different for others of course.

INRA in France might be an option too.

This is a Prunus avium probably a seedling of a garden variety. Definately not a true native P.avium. These would have more darker fruits.
Actually feral P.avium can taste quite good. Each tree is different. But some are sour or even slightly bitter. Eating will not harm you.

Terri Pietroburgo seems to be an expert on native Pawpaws. Couldn`t find her nursery but an article with her email adress.

Does anyone have seeds of Asimina species other than Triloba? Budwood would also be an option.

This spring I ordered seeds of var. assamensis from China. Sadly they failed to germinate. Couldn`t find a nursery with plants. Usually you can buy only japonica.
You might have a chance when ordering a large amount of seeds... maybe

I might have missed a post but do you have backups of the survivours? I just wonder if these survivours are already reliable hardy enough for slightly warmer climates than yours.
I have several seedlings here to test but my ground in the field is so bad that Poncirus shows literally no growth in years. Will be the same with hybrids.
So I need to do small scale tests here in my house garden with better ground.

I guess it is easier to graft then to wait years for the first flower on a seedling. Cuttlings doesn`t work reliable on most Citrus, even hybrids.
In my eyes it is simply easier.

Not much different than before. But without leaves. It's dark now. I'll try it tomorrow.

Here are some ideas I would like to contribute for everyone how is interested:

In Germany there is a company using a greenhouse around the house to heat it. The oven is placed outside in the greenhouse cause it is too warm otherwise. To prevent mold it is vented on top and walls are water vapour permeable. Water vapour will follow natural vapour pressure from inside to outside. No mold and rotting issues. Radon is discharged to the outside.
These houses have very low heating costs. But your area is definately colder in winter but might have more sun in winter?

There is a very clever way to heat a greenhouse (and the house) in Nebraska made by Russ Finch.
This won`t work in Germany cause soil temperatures are colder due to missing snow cover in winter.
