Greehouse vent question
« on: November 03, 2020, 09:11:44 PM »
Greenhouse is almost finished. The problem is that there is a huge amount of condensation on the roof plastic and keeps dripping on the plants. How to get rid of this? Even with the vents and door open, there is still a small amount on the roof. I understand that condensation on the greenhouse is bad for the plants as it spreads diseases. I also want to put a smaller greenhouse in the greenhouse to put my ultra tropicals which would be covered with plastic. Any suggestions on venting this? Trying to keep the smaller one at or above 60, but I understand that condensation will form...Any suggestions? Thanks.

I think condensation is unavoidable in the colder months.  If you can direct the condensation down the sides & frame to the ground rather than letting it drip onto plants that is something.  It depends on how your greenhouse is constructed.

All my greenhouses are drippy... and I have never had any disease issues.
