Mahachanok mango Atlanta Georgia
« on: September 08, 2019, 01:31:58 PM »
one of the six Mahachanok mangoes   ripening on my 2 year old tree
Growing in a 15 gallon fabric pot  on my patio dropped into the fruit netting I attached to it, I live on the second story of a apartment so it’s a very fall to the bottom had the net not been attached: Beautiful fruit the smell is  incredible I shall wait for it to ripen up a few days more before devouring it

can you keep mahachanok in a pot for long time without having root strangulation issues?

Yes but you must use a air pruning pot like a fabric pot that way the roots don’t strangle themselves because they are air pruned.
