Title: Cas Guava - Psidium friedrichsthalianum
Post by: So_Cal_Mike on June 08, 2019, 01:54:38 PM
Mine are flowering for the first time...

Those of you growing it, does yours tend to flower in clusters?

I was surprised to see this tendency on both plants...

All of my guavas flower in clusters. Usually 1-2 fruits hold on but I have had up to 4 in a cluster hold to maturity. I've seen clustered fruit on Cas in Costa Rica. I have some Cas seedlings in 1 gallon size to trade if anyone in SWFL is interested. I'm not shipping them.

Hmm my guavas fruit one on each side of a node. This is a first for me seeing multiples on each side of the node on Cas. Thanks for the info.
