ZANDS: This "glass" method is very similar to your spoon method. You cut the mango in fillets, close to the seed. Then you use the glass to scoop out the pulp. The glass catches the juices. I tried it on a very ripe Glenn and Edwards mango today and it worked great. The glass method yields larges pieces of mango, but probably only works on very ripe (soft) and fiberless mangos.
