Tropical Fruit Discussion / Re: Vista White Seedling Tree? Do you have One

he is very arrogant and thinks that he is the only one who has loquats. I was able to secure some cuttings from other sellers here who are humble and down to earth. Don't waste your time on him LOL.

Kas has been straight up and polite in our communications.  When I've ordered scions, he has sent more then ordered, and he has even given out free scions.  He has always a been a gentleman, and others here have had similar experiences.  Some self-examination may be in order.

Kaz is awesome and explicit in his rules for what he sells. Never had a bad experience with him.

AdamC - Sellers have the right to refuse to sell to anyone  Let me try to understand, he was selling something,  you asked him to bend his rule, he didn't and now you're running your mouth. Is this correct?  I recommend apologizing and moving on.

Emerald is the first graft to pop through the buddy tape. Only scion of Emerald, I hope she can hold..

Try Simpsons, isons, agristarts, or liner source. Some may be far away but they also might deliver.

I had Sinton, but lost it due to a Phythophtora infestation. It is very rare in Europe and I only know of one nursery that sells it.
Maybe it's different in the USA.

Madison carries it in the US.

You plan on growing this…where in the UK?

I went with Atwood because it is an early variety and holds well. My only other navel is Lane Late and I wanted to compare the two. I had originally planned on giving blood oranges another try, but then I noticed a healed Smiths Red bud graft from last year pushing growth.

- Mas I highly encourage grafting when you can get into it. Really opens doors to get more varieties and save some coin.

Citrus General Discussion / Re: New Zealand lemonade vs Meyer lemon
« Last post by Tortuga on Today at 12:32:29 PM »
I would recommend eureka or lisbon lemons over meyer.  I would most likely not have a meyer lemon tree if I was able to grow standard lemon varieties in my climate.  Meyer lemons to me have an off taste.  Meyer is a highly productive tree if you like the fruit but I prefer other lemon varieties over meyer.

I agree. Meyer lemons are low quality and not worth growing. I would recommend Lisbon or Harvey
