Got seeds in 5 days, great condition!

Temperature here is below 15 deg.C all day! Hope it's warm enough to germinate...

Adhyt i have some questions about the Willughbeia Sarawakensis.

- Can i grow it on the carport so the car will be under it? I mean will it drip latex on the car sometimes after i pick a fruit or a branch is pruned? And is that latex very sticky or will it damage the new car?

- Will this vine be very large and if so can i prune it sometimes?

I can't find the info on the web so i better ask you.

Hi my friends...I will gladly answer your questions :)

I think no...my friend , because willughbeia sarawakensis is a tree that grows wild in the forest , and the fruit has a sticky sap , but I do not think it would be to damage your car ...
Look at the following picture :

You can see the sap that drips when the fruit is plucked from the tree .

Initially I thought also be planted in the yard of my house , but after seeing the trees in the forest I was thinking back . Because trees willughhbeia sarawakensis very wild vines , and it will be able to cover your house ... hehe .. ;D
*Look at the following picture :

This tree with wild vine in the jungle.

Wow, w. sarawakensis are crazy thick vines. I feel sorry for the people who got these to grow indoors:)

I don't think you can build any structure for these, you just have to let them grow in semi wild conditions claiming large trees. Willughbeia angustifolia might be better option for smaller spaces, as I saw only lower portion of the vine getting very thick. Thicker than big human male's  thigh. The rest of vine can be managed on a large tree. Even with angustifolia forget growing on fences. It will brake them and circulated entire yard before looking for a new space to expand. The vine I saw is not there anymore. I think it just strangled that big tree like a phyton and killed itself in the process.

yes .... w.sarawakensis and w . angustifolia is almost the same , they require a large tree or an artificial structure to vines ;D

Wow that's a monstervine, thanks for those pics. I will grow it in a big pot on the carport and see what happens.

The other ones i will grow outside Bangkok, this looks like a serious jungleplant. I don't want it all over the house  ;D

This vine would be perfect for the Gardens at the Bay in Singapore, it can easy climb into those huge iron tree's and then we can pick the fruit from the walkingbridge at 22 metres high.
