But my experience was different. He sent 2 packages, I received both of them with an interval of several weeks. Though the second one has arrived later because it made a trouble with IBAMA, all the seeds have arrived without any omission.

Many thanks SH... the true is this person harimnair2001@gmail.com NEVER BOUGHT A SINGLE SEED FROM ME. We made a trade and apparently my seeds didn't arrive, what is not my fault, and his seeds arrived totally rotten, destroyed and unlabeled, not a single one OK to plant, so I didn't feel too much obligated to resend anything.  I was willing to trade again with him, as I do with dozens of friends all over the world, in the last 15 years, but know I am not sure anymore....

I do not agree with  Hari Nair
I have traded many times with Carlos
It is my fault that I have not sent him anything for quite a long time
[Because of my bad experience with Brazil Post as my many packets did not reach him]
I will do it again.
Thank you
Roy

Hi Dreamfrutas,
I've also sent a PM to you. Did you get it?
I paid $22 to you for 20 seeds of ilex paraguariensis.
My address is in the PM. Please tell me if you didn't receive it.

Kind regards,
Henk

BEWARE THIS SELLER!

This guy’s ‘fresh’ seeds are bone dry and old. Nothing fresh about them, unless your notion of fresh means ‘harvested within the past decade’ (at least with his Ilex paraguariensis seeds).

Don’t waste your money. Pretty pictures, but not-so-pretty seeds. Be warned.

Feel free to PM me for more details.

Carlos has a pretty good reputation on the forum.  Not saying they were fresh or not, just saying that he isn't known to be a scam artist.  The problem often lies in the fact that they are shipped from Brazil and subject to slow postal services and/or red tape.

had bad experience with this seller when purchasing annona seeds. not a single seed out of the 50 was viable.

I have had dealings with Carlos over a long period and always found him professional and reliable. He is a good guy. There is always a risk with seeds despite peoples' best intentions and even packing.

Dear Cunningplatypus and lajolla do you report your compliant directy to Carlos? What was his reaction? I once bought some seeds from Carlos and they germinate nicely. It was not annona and Ilex paraguariensis. Different situations happen. Causes of death of seed may be different. Sometimes they are independent from the consignor. Key to the seller and the buyer - tried to understand and respect each other.

I have bought seeds off Carlos two or three times, of different genera, I got a more than acceptable germination rate. Post was slow but that's out of everyone's hands really.
