GA3 500ppm for 10 hrs was used on the seeds and I presume etoliation wont be a problem.A shorter time at 500ppm probably would have been ok.My trees are a bit crowded and obstructed by other things so I cant get shots of the trees.

How do rate them compared to other annonas that you've tried?

Yeah, I’m also interested in how you rate illamas compared to Cherimoya or Atemoyas. The fruit looks beautiful.

Well done Mike. I really like the red colouring of the flowers on this Annona, plus they look pretty large to.

An ilama with pale pink flesh fell off.It tasted good. Not quite as sweet as atemoya or sugar apple and it had a slight raspberry taste. It isn't a red genova or Guillermo so I presume that makes it rosendo perez. It is about as seedy as a sugar apple or a little more so. It shows that the top atemoyas that are almost seedless have had the benefit of selection.

Might not be a perfect atemoya but it sure looks and sounds delicious!

Rosada or Guillermo as temps drop the flesh gets lighter

Mmm the chilliest minimum temperature during the weeks before ripening was over 75f with most minimums being closer to 80f so paleness wasn't due to cold.

One of my ilamas which has vibrant coloured flesh is better than the others. The taste is infused with a rich strawberry flavour.I suspect it is the genuine red genova.

Ilamas with strongly coloured flesh if crossed to orange or red skinned sugar apples might produce impressive offspring. The flesh is certainly eye catching and the juice that come out is really red as well.

I like strawberry flavour , here strawberry is not sweet.

If you eat much of this will you pee also be red like red dragonfruit do?

We have big sugarapple but no red one like this, looks so nice.
