Hi Alexandre it came in a batch of Acu Paulista seeds and looks completely different to all of the others

Hi

Where did you get seeds or the plant?

It reminds me of some wild plinia, may be a new material.

Looking for an ID on this Plinia / Jaboticaba. It looks a lot different from anything else I have thank you

I have 5 years old jaboticaba sp. Escalarte (caulifora x aureana). Is it a red hybrid jaboticaba and Its only another name for it?  Thanks  :)

Escalarte is also called Scarlet Jaboticaba .Red Hybrid is a different hybrid but at 5 years old yours should be
flowering already

Looking to confirm if anybody can help with the identity of the seedlings in the pot in the front of the photo labelled as Soncoya.
The seedling at the back is also a Soncoya but from a different source. Thanks for any information

The red ones are ripe .Just suck on the flesh and skin and spit the seed out and
then suck on a lemon or something sour and you will notice how it has affected
your taste buds

Hi fellow fruit tree lovers I was wondering if anyone could advise a
suitable rootstock for grafting Plinia Edulis on to . Will they graft on to
any of the common Myrciaria  ?

If they set fruit at such a small size I might just leave this 3 footer in a pot

that is not a Myrciaria, it looks more like Plinia coronata, maybe var. Restinga

This is my Restinga and the leaves are very different

whether these are likely to survive long term

Does anybody recognise this fruit ? I think it comes from Mindanao or Micronesia and it tastes like mango without the tang and it's not Capuasu

Hopefully ants are a suitable pollinator for  Luc's Garcinia

Looks just like cv. that has proved to be very fast bearing here in tropical north Qld .
Keeping trees short has proved to help speed up and ease harvest ..

3 years is about right ..

Do you know the cultivar name as I have seedlings that were just identified as from Borneo or from the Philipines

Fertilizer burn maybe
