Can't advise on jaboticaba but I can advise that my Bouea macrophylla  maprang variety "mayong chid" just had
a 30kg crop which consisted of 4 seperate flowering events and it will usually have 2 crops per year

TLC is   tender loving care

They will also grow after being dug out of the ground or cro barred out in this case and will
grow readily from root cuttings

I think Mike T posted photos of the same fruit a few days ago trying to ID it. Doesn't look like any canistel i've ever seen here, but it's possible.

Yes he did Oscar but didn't get any ID so hopefully someone might know this time

Mine tend to have fruit when we have a dry spell and then get a lot of rain. They also need to
be in full sun for best results .A good dose of fertilizer might also help

« on: August 24, 2018, 05:41:58 AM »
The picture of Stevo's red pineapple is considered ornamental herw.  Not say its 100% inedible (or cant be eaten) but once tasted you will see why we consider it an ornamental.

The OP's picture looks normal at the stage it is at for an edible fruit (variety unknown)..

Mine tasted just like a normal pineapple
