I think it is the same variety I got from Exotica 15 years ago. The fruit should be yellow. Once it's in the ground it takes off.
It's already overpriced. Any cutting over $10 is a ripoff. Rare or not, it's a frenzy, created by internet heros.
Newb at DF, I have purple haze, dark star, and American beauty. Should I get a variety that is a prolific pollinator to help pollinate the others? Or not necessary
Can we ban bsbullie?
Can we ban you?
Have you ever grown pitangatuba? Seen ripe fruit? Know its texture and fragility of it when ripe? Jyst how would it lend itself to a commercial market (I am not even going to discuss the masses do not support fruit if this tartness)? Do you even know what you are talking about or just spewing garbage?
Comparing it mango is ludicrous.
If you want to go at it, just be prepared. .
Has anyone tasted the pinkglow pinapple ?
Just wondering if its worth buying one at the local market.
Check on BonsaiBeast, loves dragonfruit.
What’s up BB! Great meeting you at the yangmei exchange, wish I woulda had more time to rap, damn kids...Are you growing S8 too? If so, does the fruit production, pollen, taste, fertility, etc. all match up with Voodoo? I’ve heard they are the same as well.
Not trying to cause any grief but looking at the branch angles of the tree I have a hard time believing that the tree has never had some form of pruning done 🤔. Regardless if the tree is in fact 50 yrs old it is incredibly small for white sapote.
