Have a few Arusha seeds from the Tanzanian variety that tastes like pineapple

Escarlate is the fastest and less than 3 years.

That's fast thanks Mike!!

I have heard that Phitrantha costada fruits in about 2  1/2 years and is a smaller tree than red hybrid or escarlate

Did that Illama have good overall flavor? I’ve tried some and they were really pretty horrible, I guess just not my cup of tea. I felt that Cherimoya and Atemoya were much better tasting but that’s just my palate. It is a beautiful fruit. Thanks for sharing.

Simon

Not as sweet as sugar apple but still a very pleasant taste

How did the fruit taste? Was it good?

My tree is 25 cm and 3 years old...in full soil/sun now which is no problem.

Fell off or was knocked off before it was ripe so hopefully we'll have better luck this year

I have a 4-5 year old tree that gets about 5 hours of full sun per day and it's 7 ' tall and has endured a recent heatwave
where it got up to 110 degrees for consecutive days and it came through with virtually no damage .I also know of a tree
from the same batch that had it's first fruit last year and it had flowered previously

Can't advise on jaboticaba but I can advise that my Bouea macrophylla  maprang variety "mayong chid" just had
a 30kg crop which consisted of 4 seperate flowering events and it will usually have 2 crops per year

They will also grow after being dug out of the ground or cro barred out in this case and will
grow readily from root cuttings
