Foliage?
Mahachanok leaves are veri distinct looking. If you post pictures of the two different grafts it should be easy. As for the Coconut Cream, the growth habit of the branches is very much undulating. It is also fairly vigorous.
Reviving old post because having a similar issue. Bought a mahachanok tree last year from Excalibur and don’t know why but when I got Home I had this gut feeling it was mislabeled. Tree didn’t have tag only pot said it was a mahachanok. Tree branches grow iratic and curved and point downward. Leaves are large and curvy. Today was smelling sap and smells citrusy/lemony. So I’m starting to think my gut feeing was right. Wonder what it could be coconut cream/? Here is a pic of tree.
