The Purple Haze, on the left in this pic weighed in at 1.2kg. It was truly huge! While this isn't the norm, this variety does put out a larger than average fruit if cross pollinated. Fantastic flavour as well!

I have selected the variety " vietnamese white" for commercial purposes and the heaviest fruit I had so far weighted 1,360kg. Average weight is 700-800gr and when I take off fruits from branches and leave only one I usually get fruits around the kilo.
Here is a couple of pictures of my commercial dragon fruit orchard ( vietnamese white ).

Season started a few weeks ago and it is the second wave that is blooming right now. Fruiting will last until mid april here in New Caledonia.

Giant Vietnamese is a large fruit.  I can take cuttings for trade or what not
